  • One side is Black Figure painting and the other is Red Figure painting to symbolize two cultures coming together. During the Age of Exploration they realized that there actually were black people, and sense they themselves did not look black, they should not paint themselves that way.

  • I personally selected this image because the detail amazes me, and the symbolism is very interesting and historic for that day and age.
